Dmitry Sapronov was born in 1978. In 2000, he graduated from the Engineering Faculty of the Air Force Engineering Academy in Moscow.

In 2007, he earned an MBA in Banking Management from the Financial Academy in Moscow.

Before joining OTP Group in 2010, Dmitry held various management positions at several banks, including Rosbank, Home Credit & Finance Bank and Sberbank, where he worked as a manager, department head and deputy director.

From 2010 to 2014, Dmitry held various management positions in the retail banking division of OTP Bank in Moscow.

From 2015 to 2017, he served as Director of Product Development and Management at Home Credit Consumer Finance Company in China.

From 2017 to 2023, Dmitry headed the Products and Business Development Centre at VPBank SMBC Finance Company in Vietnam.

Since June 2023, Dmitry has served as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Ipoteka Bank OTP Group, with responsibility for the Retail and SME Banking division.
