Zoltan Molnar was born in 1984. He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Finance from Corvinus University of Budapest (2002–2007), including studies at Jönköping University in Sweden. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). In 2020, he earned an MBA from the Corvinus-SEED programme, graduating with distinction, first in his class.
He began his professional career in 2007 at Ernst & Young in Hungary, progressing from Analyst to Corporate Finance Manager and working on more than 30 transactions, including sell-side and buy-side M&A, leveraged buyouts, and debt and equity financings.
From 2013 to 2015, he served as Corporate Finance Manager at Ernst & Young Middle East in Kuwait, leading due diligence and M&A advisory projects and advising private companies on capital market strategy, including listings on the London Stock Exchange and Tadawul (Saudi Arabia).
In 2015, Zoltan joined OTP Bank, where until 2017 he was responsible for M&A and post-acquisition integration: valuation modelling for deals exceeding EUR 100 million, synergy planning, deal negotiations and the management of major integration projects, including the mergers of OTP Banka Srbija with Vojvodjanska banka, Societe Generale Srbija with Vojvodjanska banka, and OTP Bank Albania with Alpha Bank Albania.
From 2017 to 2023, he served as Country Manager of OTP Bank for Serbia, and from 2022 also for Albania, responsible for financial performance management, business development and optimisation projects. From 2019 to 2021, he was a Member of the Board of Directors of Vojvodjanska banka, and since 2021 he has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of OTP Osiguranje ADO Beograd, OTP Group's insurance company in Serbia.
Since June 2023, Zoltan has served as Country Manager for Uzbekistan at OTP Bank, responsible for the transformation and business development of Ipoteka Bank and Imkon Sug'urta JSC.
Zoltan is a Member of the Supervisory Board of Imkon Sug'urta JSC, OTP Group.
