INSURANCE EVENT

The following events are considered an insurance event:

loss, destruction or damage of the insured information assets due to errors made inadvertently in the design, development, creation, installation, configuration, maintenance or use of information systems;

loss, destruction or damage of insured information assets due to computer attacks against the insured;

loss, destruction or damage to insured information assets as a result of computer viruses;

loss of financial assets in electronic form due to illegal withdrawal from the policyholder's accounts;

loss, destruction or damage to insured electronic information assets or financial assets as a result of intentional illegal actions aimed at obtaining illegal personal financial benefits or harming the insured by an employee of the insured, independently or organized. The concept of illegal personal financial benefits does not include salaries, bonuses, commissions and other forms of material incentives received by employees of the insured.

EXCEPTIONS TO THE INSURANCE EVENT

 The following events are not considered an insurance event:

loss, destruction or damage of electronic information assets or financial assets as a result of force majeure;

damages related to physical destruction or damage of computer, network, telecommunications equipment;

any losses due to fire;

damages related to natural wear and tear of electronic equipment, electronic data carriers and loss of their useful properties;

damages due to fluctuations or interruptions in the power supply;

and other circumstances specified in the insurance contract.
